ExSitu wants to introduce to you real oldtime C. indica ssp. afghanica genetics have been collected at Mingora Swat on the road to Chitral, Pakistan border area in 1988 and then being preserved since 1989 after Soviet army troops left Afghanistan. 'Chitral Precious' is a plant of BLD type, or broad leaflet drugtype. It's height approximately is 100 cm when indoors. Strong and stink odor as well. Less strong than 'Jalalabad Star' has but strong enough. Not so acrid and stink but it sure needs enough of good ventilation. Very beautiful plant with leaves of deepest green and blueing black colors. Sometimes leaves are glossy. It is a compact, powerful plant with wide fingered leaves and a sweet aroma. When blooming, 'Chitral Precious' has a very pleasant scent. Aroma of both caramel and fancy bread. Product made of 'Chitral Precious' has a delicious taste and a savory bouquet of smoke.
