Shiatsu Kush x Guptilla. This is a powerful cross that is great for the “couchlock” effect. Also an excellent strain for insomnia, especially if you give it an extra week or two in flower so that the potency degrades slightly and turns into CBN, which is known to help with sleeplessness. She does well in cool and somewhat warm environments, but not a great performer in high heat.
I took 2 identical Shiatsu Kush males and pollinated an absolutely gorgeous Guptilla female(pictured above). Expect rapid very vigorous growth in veg and about 50-60 days in flower for some very chunky, medium to tall beautiful mamas. The aromas range from minor gassy(it’s genetics are 1/4 Gorilla Glue #4), to a very unique scent that’s reminiscent of green peas and mint, and combinations there of. I’ve often felt the Gorilla Glue #4 is too potent to smoke very much of, and this hybrid brings in the calming effects of the Shiatsu Kush and Gupta Kush. Some phenos do end up just as potent as the GG#4, but most are a nice blend of genetics that result in a calming and couchlock effect. I’ve struggled greatly with insomnia my whole life and this strain, especially when grown past it’s peak potency by a week or 2, is the best I’ve found to ease me into a decent night’s sleep.
