This is our newest strain creation combining the Kremlin OG from one of the original members of GGG. The Kremlin OG came directly from one of the original members of GGG that was handed to the owner of our company in person, with verification to prove that.
The Kremlin OG really is a powerhouse strain and is extremely rare as the only other two people breeding with it are indeed both members of the old GGG team. So instead of using our Triangle Kush back cross, like one of the other guys previously did, we took our North Korean landrace male and pollinated the Kremlin OG.
The owner of SSSCo physically went to pick up a teen of Kremlin OG. The plant was wonderful and we’d heard the rumors, but wanted to know for ourselves if it lived up to the hype. It absolutely lived up to its hype in the end, but from that mini mother/very large teen we took a few cuttings and rooted them for other projects. We have clear verification and proof this is indeed Kremlin OG.
Out of the couple of males we decided to use, the North Korean landrace seemed a proper fit for the piney, citrus, floral and diesel notes from the Kremlin OG. The North Korean added an extra spicy tone that extenuated that fresh mint on the hybrid.
This plant grows large and staking is an absolute must as the branches also grow quite long and have to have support to keep the branches from breaking. While we were hoping this cross would be good, it actually turned out to be GREAT! You get all the subtle notes from the North Korean, but it fully allows the Kremlin OG to shine through. He only added a little bit of extra oomph and accentuated the flavor of the Kremlin OG. The North Korean didn’t alter or cover anything up, but nicely added to the Kremlin OG.
This will be a limited release as we will be keeping a large batch of these seeds to continue the in house testing and taking this line a bit further down the generations.
