Cherry Diesel x Stardawg
Cherry Diesel, the mother of Cackleberry, is a cross of Cherry OG and Turbo Diesel. Best known for her trademark aroma, she smells like cherry cough syrup with hints of ammonia and jet fuel.
She grows like a sativa with a bit more stretch in flower but is surprisingly quick to finish flowering. Her effects are more typical of sativas and are clear-headed, uplifting, functional, and euphoric.
The Stardawg male should bring down flowering time as well as Cherry Diesel’s tendency to stretch out in flower. Cherry Diesel is already a decent yielder but should be improved on with vigor from the Stardawg genes.
Cackleberry is fast, branchy, high-yielding, and should have the candied cherry aroma and flavor of Cherry Diesel.
This was a F2 seed run ran by me ModicumGenes. I did the selecting out of 15 seeds and found 2 moms. I like CB4 which had the cherry sweet smell and CB1 which had the stardawg smell and structure. I kept 2 males CB3 which grew extremely vigorous showed it sex early on and great structure. Cb3 smelled dank early in veg. Cb7 smelled sweet upon stemrub. I used both males in an open pollenation inside my 4 x 4 tent.
In my 2 x 4 tent I took selected clones and did paint brush pollination I took female cb4(sweet) x cb1(sweet) and
cb3(dawg) x cb7(dawg) to see the difference in the next gen I have a select few of those. I'm running to see will I get the heavy cherry or dawg taste and structure heading in to f3.
