Like you I love hunting new unique flavors so when I got the chance to pop some seeds I grabbed a handful from a few different breeders outside of my circle. My hunt yielded some amazing new phenos one of which was a crazy smelling keeper of Rainbow Guava from Bloom co. it was lime green in color with moderate frost and had a wild sweet guava terp profile that was definitely missing from our library. My intention in this cross was to try and capture some of the fruity guava fragrance and taste from the Rainbow Guava and add some frost, color and better structure in the mix. Rainbow Rush had a perfect germination and popped right out of the soil as expected. I noted beautiful purple striation very early, week one in fact out of the dirt, something I love to see when popping seeds. Veg was rather unremarkable with nothing too out of the ordinary, the Rainbow Rush maintained a healthy growth pace, and took up nutrients well. The first signs of diversity came about week 4-5 when she started to give off her first smells although fairly light I could smell the same sweet guava fruit on a majority of the phenos! I knew we were on to something. Around mid to late flower her structure began to come more clear with tight dense cone shaped buds laced with fine frost and a much more complex pronounced smell. On or around day 53 seemingly over night she changed color. She seemed to mature quickly finishing around day 56 with beautiful pink under leaves, magenta flower swirls mixed with bright orange pistils giving rise to her name "Rainbow Rush". Her sandy granular frost hint at wash ability but her truest trait is her unmistakable remarkable smell. We hope you enjoy growing our first but not last guava creation "Rainbow Rush"
