Portland Obama Kush BX2 - 15 Regs

Obama Kush BX2 is Obama Kush (clone only) x Chem 541 (massive seeds) then backcrossed twice onto the same Obama Kush clone.

There are two different strains called "Obama Kush" one is said to be Afghani x OG Kush by a unknown breeder in Michigan but the real Obama Kush that is a very beloved strain across the west coast and particularly in Oregon is what is known as Portland Obama Kush bred by CSI Humboldt. From CSI Humboldt's own website.

"The Infamous Portland Obama Kush (Mendocino Purple x Bubba Kush)…bred by Nspecta, of CSI:Humboldt in 2006 and sprouted, named, selected, & popularized by Red Beard/Tigard Farms of CSI:Portland in 2007"

Obama Kush is a heavily dominant strain producing shorter bushy plants with very compact buds that are rock hard in density. The dense bud structure can make her somewhat susceptible to bud mold if exposed to rain and/or high humidity but this is offset by being a very early flowering and finishing cultivar. Grown outdoors it is consistently my first plant into flower and first to be harvested. Terpene profile is very unique, layered taste and aroma that is somewhat difficult to describe. Licorice is probably the most prominent upfront note but is not overpowering (as like Jager for example) being mixed in along with fruity, slightly gassy and kush notes as well. Usually 20-22% .

Chem 541 is a nod to Southern Oregon, 541 being the area code, the breeder Massive Genetics is also based out of Southern Oregon so it seemed appropriate to use as a base to developing this backcross primarily for my own preservation and breeding stock but pleased to be able to help share this underrated strain with others. A very special project for me 100% Oregon bred, born, and grown.
