Napa Valley Gateway Seeds

I’ve been a seed creator since 2001. Blueberry is my favorite strain. I smuggled some original DJ Short blueberry and several other strains from amsterdam in 1999. Started a small personal Breeding project with those lines here in California. Fast forward to 2016. I was able to revive a single blueberry male from those old seeds and I crossed it with a female I selected from a blueberry line with similar lineage out of Colorado. Out of that small breeding I hand selected three distinct blueberry male phenotypes with an exceptionally wide range of desirable characteristics. I used all three of those males to open pollinate several other strains that I’ve enjoyed. The F1’s created from that open pollination have exceptional vigor and genetic variability.
