I planted my first seed in 1978 behind my grandpa’s house in Hartshorne, OK, and, except for a couple of state enforced breaks, I’ve grown ever since. Breeding is something that I’ve been interested in for a while but, outside of making seeds for myself, it isn’t something I’ve had the chance to do much of. The passage of SQ788, OK’s medical law, has changed that.
I'm a big fan of Snowhigh, and, thanks to my Covid relief funds, I've been able to acquire some great landrace genetics from him, as well as a few other collectors, and start making some crosses.
I'm in my 60s, and I'm not looking to build a Seed Empire. I'm mainly interested in spreading these genetics around, and covering my growing costs. I don't write flowery descriptions, my olfactory palette is very limited, and I'm not a great photographer, but I won't bullshit you about the genetics.
This plant has informed my views on everything from politics to music, it’s helped me fight off depression and arthritis pain in my hands, it’s built a culture and a lifestyle that I really enjoy, and it attracts a class of people that I love being around.
Good growing everyone!
