This is an F2 of Chimera’s Dolcè Sativa aka Sweetest Sativa.
The F1 cross I used to select the parents for my F2 was created by Chimera who used Breeder Steve’s famous “Sweet Skunk” as a mother and pollenated her with a very elite vintage of Blueberry which DJ Short also used to create his classics like True Blueberry, Grape Krush, F13, and Blue Moonshine. This Blueberry line is a very early elite sativa version of this line which isn’t even available from DJ Short himself these days.
Both these rare vintage strains are extremely flavorful with one of a kind effects and beauty. The effects are creative, relaxing, yet euphoric and mood lifting but with minimal anxiety thanks to the Blueberry.
Sweet Skunk is known for its Sweet Pink Grapefruit and exotic haze terpenes. Other fruits, spices, and sour notes are definitely present.
Being that these seeds are F2s which both parents were selected heavily for Blueberry traits… many great old school syrupy Blueberry candy phenos are sure to be found! F2 generation genetics are known for showcasing extreme traits from deep within the line, in this case Blueberry’s rare sativa traits were selected over the Afghani side of the line which lends to more exotic and flavorful smells, tastes, and effects hidden in the original Blueberry line. These seeds are perfect stock to be used for breeding exotic Blueberry traits into any cross you are looking to create yourself… so please, feel free to breed with this line to proliferate Blueberry genetics which are now more rare and limited than ever!
I did a germination test this summer before a road trip. Gave many plants away, but few followed up and got back to me.
But, one friend of a friend whom had never grown before got a small tent and grew one of the random plants from seed that I passed to her. Luckily it was a female, but not only that… it was a prime specimen showcasing just the tip of the iceberg of what Blueberry dominant, with strong notes of exotic blueberry and sticky sweet candy are sure to be found.. For her first grow, you can clearly see from the picture she totally nailed it.
Another friend grew a few at high elevation in Colorado and received a bountiful harvest of sticky buds that were glistening with trichomes.
If you miss the old school Blueberry with a fun sweet pink grapefruit twist… search no further!

DJ Short’s Blueberry - This Blueberry is derived from original Blueberry, an unreleased line that also fathered DJ Short True Blueberry. Chimera was given access to the room in which DJ Short's male selections were made. He chose several individuals personally, as well as the now deceased “Blueberry #130” male that DJ selected himself, and these selections are the pollen donors for the Joint Projects. Some of the best resin has come off of the mutants in these releases.
Every cross that I have seen turns out spectacular. In these hybrids the Blueberry gene is very dominant.
A classic example is Chimera's Fighting Buddha. This Burmese cross has heavy Blue line traits(foxtailing, purple stem...)." - Red from Legends Seeds
These plants came as cuttings. The male known as “Blueberry #130” contributed pollen for the Chimera/DJ Short joint projects.. Other plants from this same seed stock from which the male was found includes “Blueberry #133”(the mother of Old Time Moonshine), “Blueberry #25” (the mother of Grape Krush) and “Blueberry #144” (the mother of True Blueberry).

Sweet Skunk - An elite Vancouver clone selected by Breeder Steve from a large population. "A very small batch of these were made last winter and have barely seen the light of gardens except a small group of SS lovers. The Sweet Skunk clone, is in my opinion, the finest and most unique sativa of the last decade, and the unbeatable #1 favorite in our group.
Sweet Skunk was originally introduced by Breeder Steve of “Spice of Life Seeds” in 1994. The heritage was listed as Sensi Seed’s Big Skunk x Sweet Pink Grapefruit (a.k.a. Grapefruit) at the time, but Breeder Steve later speculated that the father was likely a NL x Haze male rather than a Big Skunk. This makes sense; the Southeast Asian “Hazey” bud structure is hard to ignore. Apparently, Steve had obtained two trays of clones for a grow, one labeled “Big Skunk” and the other “NL x Haze.” Upon planting and flowering the clones, one of the trays turned out to have a male that pollinated the crop, producing the seeds sold as Sweet Skunk. (Sometimes unplanned hybridization can yield outstanding individuals.) F1 seeds were planted, and an extreme sativa-leaning selection (SS #10) was chosen out of a roomful of girls. This clone is now known in BC and as the original Sweet Skunk clone famous for her sticky sweet pink grapefruit and spicy haze traits.
