Description:
V9 Tiger is a variegated selection of our Violetta SWAG, which is a collection of Landrace genetics and old-school legacy strains. V9 Tiger has been exclusively bred out of the most vigorous variegated SWAG Strains in this lineage for improved vigour.
One parent has been created by crossing an Afghani Landrace and a Hindu Kush landrace to the Trinidad SWAG and reselecting them for the SWAG Morphology. Introducing landrace aromas, whilst selecting for the SWAG leaf mutation. They have been further crossed to SWAG OG, a SWAG line which Dr Kaly frequently crossed with newer hybrids and backcrossed to the Original SWAG.
The Afghani SWAG expressed typical morphology and earthy-sweet hash aromas. The Hindu Kush SWAG exhibited similar characteristics, which made her an ideal match. Yet the original Hindu Kush line was derived from a befriended Community in central Germany, which cultivated this line over the decades. It adapted to the Climate conditions in northern Europe with cold and rainy weather in autumn.
Morphology & Growth:
SWAG Leaftype = smooth-edged (non-serrated) Duckfoot leaves with plenty of buds. Violetta SWAG grows rather dense, almost bushy reaching on average 1.2-1.8m, and some rare outliers grow taller. Easy to cultivate. Variegated specimens are a bit more sensitive to extreme humidity or strong sun.
Aroma & Flavour:
Oak Barrel, Liqueur, Umami, Woody, Honey, Hash. The SWAG Terpene profile is vastly different from most other varieties.
