Cannabiogen Destroyer S1 Fem - 100% Sativa Landrace

Cannabiogen Destroyer S1 Reproduction/Preservation Project.

This is a preservation project of the Destroyer strain created by legendary breeder Kaiki of Cannabiogen, (Awarded IC Mag Breeder of the Year in 2011). Cannabiogen's collection of genetics is the result of more than twenty years of traveling around the world in search of the very best available landraces. Thus, Cannabiogen have brought, bred and stabilised seeds from places like the mountains of Jamaica, Colombia, Pakistan, India or Thailand. Most varieties are pure genetics from traditional farms located in the most distant areas across the world.

As many within the community are aware we are currently experiencing rapid loss of foundational landrace genetics as they are replaced and/or contaminated with modern commercial hybrid that has experienced bottle-necking and a loss of genetic diversity. Many of the original pure lines are not available anymore even at their place of origin as local growers adopt modern cultivars. Cannabiogen unfortunately has shut down and gone out of business a few years ago, as such their stock has completely sold out and disappeared from any U.S. based seedbanks and very little stock remains even among European seedbanks.

About the Strain (from Cannabiogen):
This 100% Sativa strain is a cross of Meao Thai and an early and stable Mexico/Colombia. The exceptional backcross of two of our best females took over 7 years. The total acclimatization of the mother Thai has been so difficult that we decided to introduce an earlier Sativa, as well as productive, and add its characteristics. The result is a strain which represents the state-of-the-art of Sativa with an exotic predominance of Thai.

The small and numerous bracteas are covered with a big amount of trichomes full of , carrying even 92 trichomes in some bracteas by mm2.

Environmental conditions should be rather dry during bloom and with nutrients level quite low, specially nitrogen.

Flowering period is from 8 to 12 weeks depending of growing conditions. Medium/high yield outdoors and some less in indoors. Suitable with grows using SOG and SCROG techniques.

Indoors: 70~80 days
Outdoors: early November

Terpene Profile: Sweet flavor, citrus, herbal, incense, and jasmine is noticeable.

Notable Attributes (from me): One of very few true 100% sativa strains left available that has also been worked extensively over the course of many years, this is not feral/wild like some land-race strains. Very short flowering time for a pure sativa strain, I successfully grew and harvested her in Southern Oregon so should have no problem growing her anywhere south of 42 degrees of latitude outdoors. Resistant to cold, humidity, and mold for a sativa, tolerated moderate rain and a light frost towards the end of the season with no problems at all. Extremely stable, of the 5 pack of feminized seeds I originally got every plant turned out almost identical. High is very cerebral and energizing, light body buzz, no heaviness or couch lock. Does not seem like it would wash well but makes great flower rosin.

I acquired the original seed stock from Herbie's Head Shop back in 2016, saved 1 bean from the original pack which I just popped this year (2023). Join me in helping to preserve this cherished strain and ensure these genetics remain available for years to come

All pictures are taken by me of the exact plant used in making these S1 seeds. $8 per seed, minimum of 5 seeds.
