This breeding project started with Vortex F1, in which open pollination of both tropical and skunk phenotypes were allowed. The resulting F2 generation was incredible, with a few phenotypes of tropical variety and one more rare skunky/baby poo. Vortex was indistinguishable from the Apollo 13 of the 2000’s. The chosen skunk phenotype (F2 #14) tested 26-30% , and her seeds are currently being run for F4. The entire F3 line is really impressive, you are sure to find some skunk and/or mango phenotypes to keep for a long time. The F4-F5 lines aims to have the skunk pheno stabilized, leaving earlier lineages for the tropical phenotypes. I plan to continue selecting for the skunk genes, and possibly revisiting the other lineages for their various fruit/pine genes later on. Thanks to the space queen influence, you won’t find any viney phenotypes, those traits are bred out. Yields are massive, buds are very sticky, and trichomes are everywhere. The high is nearly psychedelic, there few plants like these around today. The taste is very tropical, almost candy like on the mango phenotypes. Taste on the skunk phenotype is nut/coffee, very earthy and complex; interesting and difficult to describe. You better clone these before flower. Plants are extremely tough and resistant to mold, pests, cold and heat, they’ve been bred outdoors in hot dry summers and cold rainy autumns of Michigan, outdoors and Inside.
